Sybil Portrait

Sooo this was a journey. I started this picture around the end of last summer and it was originally just a simple shoulder up, grey background, portrait. Nothing fancy. Then I had the thought to make it high res. Then I thought, "eh let's give her a body", then "eh let's give her a pose" "eh let's give her a background" all the while keeping the dpi stupidly high. I had to shrink the image by more than half just to post it here.

Anyway, this picture's a mess as none of it was planned at any point. I just kept adding to things I'd already finished and wasn't willing to redo... which is insane because the idea to add the background paintings was a last minute decision and covered up all of the marbled staircase that took so many hours to complete so whatever.

I think at some point in painting this that I goofed up the color profile... so I may update it at some point. Also I'll post the background paintings separately at some point
