The Stilted Ram

"When I saw the stilted ram
It whispered words to me.
It told of things I could not know
And things I should not see."

The Stilted Ram is an age old creature described as an extremely tall goat or ram (goats are over rated so I chose ram) and it can speak. In particular it speaks to children, often through windows or in secluded places out of the sight of others. It is in constant search of something or someone for some purpose, but most likely those who found out were never able to report it.
